We are looking to appoint a person to work within established staff and support the curriculum lead to support young people from 14 years up to 18 years who are at risk of exclusion from mainstream education.
The successful person will support young people to increase their attendance, complete their curriculum work in an alternative provision setting and encourage appropriate behaviour with the aim of re-integration into a mainstream education environment.
£9.19 per hour (plus enhanced rate of £1.16 per hour) = £10.35 X 23 hours per week X 39 weeks (term time only) = Total salary £9,283.95 (including enhanced rate)
23 hours per week (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays,9:00am – 3:00pm, Tuesdays 9:00am – 4:00pm)

The ideal candidate will have excellent motivational and communication skills and a background in working with young people who are disengaged and may be disruptive in their behaviour. Work within a team on all aspects of the teaching and delivery with a focus on the personal development and re-integration into mainstream education of each young person
