Every Sunday between April and September, there’s lots to do for adults and children.

In the Turret House (£5 per adult, children free):

Have an adult history tour
Go on a family trail and dress up as a prince and princess
Meet Bess of Hardwick or Mary Queen of Scots

In the grounds and discovery centre (£3 per adult, children free):

Get lost in the lavender labyrinth
Build a sandcastle in the giant sandpit
Get stuck in our stocks
Play outdoor wooden games
Explore the apothecary garden
Learn the history of the site in the visitor centre
See Sheffield’s oldest toilet

When you have finished exploring bring a blanket for a picnic (we sell hot and cold drinks and snacks in the Discovery Centre) or wander down the hill to the Rhubarb Shed Cafe to tuck into a tasty meal enjoying the Pictorial Meadows as you go.

Tour and family trail times: 11:30am, 1pm, 2:30pm

Children: free
Season pass: £10 per adult £8 OAP/Student (grants free entry to Manor Lodge Open Days)
