You must strictly follow the terms and conditions of the Code of Confidentiality.  You will be told of a safeguarding issue if it is thought necessary and it will be on ‘a need to know basis’.  If you are in possession of any such information you must not discuss it other than with the CPLO or staff of another appropriate agency, e.g. Social Care.
