Sheffield Healthy Holidays

The project is co-ordinated by Voluntary Action Sheffield (VAS) and delivered by partners across the city.

As a partner, Manor and Castle Development Trust are busy planning lots of activities that will be part of this year’s Sheffield Healthy Holidays programme.

We want all the children that take part in Sheffield Healthy Holidays to get active and eat healthily. In addition, we would hope that one of the key additional benefits of the programme is that children are better prepared to return to school in September.

The Sheffield Healthy Holidays programme consists of three key elements:

  1. A weekly Healthy Holidays Activity Guide printed each Monday in the Sheffield Star
  2. A range of activities and activity packs
  3. Sheffield Healthy Hampers – a weekly box containing a family make-and-eat activity, including ingredients, recipes and other exciting extras.
