With our great Health walks, a great social activity, that can help reduce isolation and loneliness, it is a chance to meet new people, and making new friends. An activity you can get enjoyment out of doing can help reduce stress.
Physical health also improves as well, moving and doing something active burns calories and can be a good starting point for those wanting to start with something that is not to intense before trying one of our other physical activities.

Spires Community Allotment
Time to grow! Urban food-growing, come and volunteer
Health benefits of working in a community allotment
Can be more than what you would think. The satisfaction of producing your own produce from seed to picking it is one. It can increase general dietary health by leaps and bounds.
Working at the Community allotment offers other tangible rewards too, including better mental well-being, for those who find themselves stuck at home and spending a lot of time alone. It can be a great social activity, a chance to get out of the house and a place to go, meet new people, and make new friends. Doing an activity you get enjoyment out of doing can help reduce stress.
Physical health also can be improved as well, moving around and doing something burns calories instead of being sat at home.
